We encourage others to start Forgiveness Day Events throughout the world. In addition, this year, anyone with internet access can participate in our “Send a Message” program. The 11th International Forgiveness Day will be celebrated this year on August 5, 2007. Please help make Forgiveness Day a truly international holiday. There are several ways you can help:
- Help get the word out. Please tell your affiliates that August 5, 2007 is International Forgiveness Day.
- Hold a Forgiveness Day event. World-wide events will take place, from simple private ceremonies to large public events. Tips for organizing an event can be found on our website, www.forgivenessday.org. (click on “create your own observance”).
- Create a Forgiveness Garden. This is a beautiful and powerful way to cultivate the spirit of forgiveness, in a private or public setting.
- Send a Message of Forgiveness. This year, any one from with internet access from any where in the world can participate in International Forgiveness Day through our “Send a Message” campaign. Visit our website for details (www.forgivenessday.org).
